It had all started with that one shot; everything had gone down from there. One shot always led to another, which led to another, which led to a line, and so on and so forth until Livv and her bandmates were throughoughly inebriated in every sort of way that they enjoyed. And such things happened more often than not; the main reason why she was sitting inside a Taco Bell awaiting the food that comforted her the most; a gordita and crunchy taco supreme. Most people were nauseous whilst in the midst of a hangover; not Livv. She wasn't like most addicts, she enjoyed her food more than most. The only reason for her figure? Cocaine, performing, and exercise; in that order.
Today had begun with Allen banging on the walls loudly announcing an early morning band practice; his way of punishing himself and his bandmates for falling into their vices so easily. Once again. Though she couldn't blame the guy, she'd known him for years and it was their dream to get to where they were. Now that they made it, inebriation sounded like the simplest thing. Annoying considerably more than anyone would have believed.
Hearing her number called Livv stood up slowly and sauntered to the counter, giving the server a rather cheeky smirk, her eyes half-lidded in such a way that few could resist. Without waiting to see his reaction she walked back towards the table in the corner, bringing her feet on the chair in front of her, reaching over her knees with one arm and unwrapping her food, staring hungrily at it, as if she could not believe there was that much comfort so close to her. Taking a bite, dainty despite the messy taco, Livv studied her surroundings, the people; attempting to force her mind to drift away from the headache that had been pounding behind her eyes since they'd opened to Allen's incesist banging.
In the corner was a woman sitting across from two starving boys who were going at their food as if they'd never seen such a substance before; it appeared that sustanence was a foreign concept to them. Somewhere inside her, Livv felt pity for the woman who had become absorbed in her newspaper rather than her adolescent cargo. Finishing the taco in record time Livv crumpled the wrapping and dropped it to the tray, unwrapping the other before it hit the plastic. Biting into the crunchy, cheesy, and, in her opinion, perfectly delicious gordita, her eyes shifted towards the couple kiddy corner from herself. Completely enthralled in one another's eyes, this caused her to roll her own hazy eyes before glancing to her left.
To her left she saw several familiar looking faces before realizing she was on tour and they were in a completely new town; last night's party had been to celebrate their newest stop. The taco bell was working, her memory of the previous evening and her reasons behind it were beginning to de-frost. Taking a sip of her Dr. Pepper Livv didn't notice the figure approaching her table.

Things were slowly starting to sort themselves into some semblance of routine. It was something Corbin had been hoping for since the tour had begun. He liked anything predictable and tended to have a problem with the unexpected. It wasn't to say that he couldn't handle it, he just didn't care for it.
Fortunately, almost any place he found himself in tended to have a fast food place. Taco Bell for example was one of the blatantly familiar structures that made him feel a little more at home where ever he went. He knew he could go in there and order the same thing in the same way and it would taste pretty much the same. Which was what led him here yet again on another inevitable hunt for some form of sustenance.
Rubbing the back of his neck as he stood in line, he looked up at the board, attempting to decide of his meal of choice. In all honesty it was an unnecessary move considering Corbin Baldwin always ordered the same thing anyway. It was no more than a hopeful possibility that the boy might find himself making a change and doing something different of his own accord. Baby steps as they said which was why when the young man behind the counter asked for his order in that same tone, Corbin gave him an answer he had never given before.
As he waited for his number to be called, Corbin slowly rethought his choice. What if he didn't like it? Should he have gone with the all too familiar burrito supreme? When the number was called Corbin was left with the dejected realization that it probably wouldn't be as good as anything he dad could make, or even his mom for that matter... Not that she was ever around enough.
Surveying the place only put more of a downer to his already unsettling day. Corbin looked almost like a lost puppy as he glanced right then left. They place was pretty packed leaving him with almost no place to sit. He frowned a little but eyes widened when they landed on a familiar face. Livvy. She was in one of the bands they were touring with. She probably wouldn't remember him considering she was drunk at a level that he had previously thought was impossible but that didn't matter. He had no other option and found himself strolling toward her before he could change his mind.
"Liv right? Mind if I sit here?" he asked in a hushed tone. The quiet, shy bassist. That was him. The introvert in the background. Though this wasn't so bad, it was surprising the amount of teenage girls that liked the mysterious band member. He had his share of fans, despite not being able to deal with them as well as most others were able to.
