7:45 PM. what an unfortunate evening. Kicked out of your hotel room because you're band mate was getting let's say "involved" with a member of the opposite sex. Shane understood though, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do. So on this very random Thursday evening Shane found himself homeless in a city he wasn't really sure of the name. After grabbing a coffee at the convenient coffee house located within the hotel he made off for the lobby which offered a comfortable place to sit until he finally got the call that the coast was clear.
he took a couple sips from the burning hot mug and placed in on the table next to his over-sized chair. Now, what to do for the next hour or so? Shane placed his acoustic guitar against the chair and pulled his laptop from the Northface backpack. There wasn't much for him to do on the internet as he had just checked his facebook and all that jazz only a couple hours earlier before band practice.
it only took a few minutes for Shane to get bored surfing the net. He placed the white Mac book on the table next to his coffee and grabbed his guitar. First, he scanned the lobby but it seemed as if no one was around. So he began to softly strum the chords. Closing his eyes the strumming began to get a little more complex, fingers reaching for the different strings. Next his voice began to sing softly,"I can hear ticking clocks,
Running rampant in Me,
chiming in apogee, Waiting for the cynergy
Of Her and Me waiting on the light
And I Never say goodnight
Never say that i'm always right
Now in you girl, I'm content to drown
You're High and Im so Down
This Night'll end sooner But much sooner now
Im awake in you and You're Asleep in me
All the things i'll never be
Make me Wonder could you see
And I Said, Wait, till i hit the ground Harder
Wish i could Wait, To i could hear your heartbeat fast
Wish i could wait Till i missed her flavour
My days are numbered here
and i dont want to be the last one Home
don't want to be the last one home
Though Im weak inside
I'm thriving just the same
Still Calling out your name
Wondering who it is that i should blame
Stabbing Hard and Burried
Conciousness and fear
Forgetting others i hold Dear
Wontcha maybe could you hear
And I said To, Wait, till i hit the ground Harder
Wish i could Wait, To hear your heartbeat fast
Wish i could wait Till i missed her flavour
My days are numbered here
and i dont want to be the last one Home
no no no, the last one home
There you are baby
just waiting on the sun
just Staring at the sky
said When will he be done
and i said there you are baby
waiting on the sun
staring at the sky
said when will he be done
when will he be done
and i wish i could wait, Till i see you shaking
wish i could wait to pull out of this one fast
wish i could wait till i taste your flavour
and maybe i can savour every last drop
and i said, Wait, till i hit the ground Harder
Wish i could Wait, to hear to hear your heartbeat fast
Wish i could wait to see you shaking
My days are numbered here
and i dont want to be the last one Home
the last one home, the last one home"
